“Now let me sing to my Well-beloved
A song of my Beloved regarding His vineyard:
My Well-beloved has a vineyard
On a very fruitful hill.
He dug it up and cleared out its stones,
And planted it with the choicest vine.
He built a tower in its midst,
And also made a winepress in it;
So He expected it to bring forth good grapes, But it brought forth wild grapes.”
Isaiah 5:1-2 NKJV
How is Christ’s investment in you doing?
Is it bringing forward good or wild fruits?
Wild has the appearance of good fruit,
Perhaps even larger and many in number;
Except that they are not good for eating,
They bring no nourishment to anyone.
May we be fruitful before the LORD,
May our fruitfulness be value to nourish . . .
May we not be a disappointment to God in the end,
For fruitfulness is not the end in itself but the use/usefulness of the fruits.
Amen.
Amen
