I have continually wondered why what is mostly designed and developed to edify a people turned out to become their destruction. Systems, structures and solutions that outlive their purpose becomes incinerating fire for destruction of what was once valuable.
Honestly, the challenge with ageing leadership is that they have overstayed. Many have conceeded the decision on their length of stay to death, instead of stepping aside when their original assignment was done.
To be alive is not necessarily a reason to stay on. When the appointed task is done, it is wise to step aside and give way to succession.
